Learn the best way to perform basic activities in your kitchen garden. Whether you are physically fit or have arthritis, you can get more out of your kitchen garden experience with correct body mechanics.
Tools that are especially designed for ease of use will also be discussed in this hour-long seminar.
Laren Rusin received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing and English from Oberlin College and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
Paula Tuttle received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Movement, Sports, and Athletic Training from Sacred Heart University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University.

Vegetables come in a rainbow of colors and can be easy and fun to grow. Children can learn to grow their own vegetables this year, from radishes planted in a container to a three sisters garden planted in a large plot. Explore the wonderful possibilities of vegetable gardening for children in this hour-long seminar.
Elizabeth Olson is an avid kitchen gardener who has won multiple blue ribbons and three Best of Show awards for vegetables at the Prince George’s County Fair. She is also a certified judge in vegetables with the Maryland Association of Agricultural Fairs & Shows.
